Advertising circular from Casa Loma
This brochure from around 1958 provides information on events at Casa Loma, an iconic St. Louis dance hall built in the 1920s. Events included performances by Dick Renna and His Famous Orchestra, Narvel Felts and His Rockets, the Teen Tones, Ralph Marterie and His Orchestra, and the Dukes of Dixieland. Also included are advertisements for the Gala New Year’s Eve Celebration (with all-night dancing) and free dance lessons. Although the city boasted many ballrooms and dance halls throughout the 20th century, only the Casa Loma remains today.
