Piccolo used by Otto Wocker

Otto Wocker, a member of St. Louis’s first orchestra, played this piccolo. Founded in 1845, the St. Louis Philharmonic Society comprised 30 musicians and was active for a decade. Unfortunately, Wocker only played with the orchestra for a few years, as he died in the 1849 cholera epidemic that swept the city.
