Woman’s floral brocade evening dress

This woman’s evening dress made of French blue silk crêpe with a floral brocade design in silver and gold metallic thread is a beautiful example of 1920s fashion. The dress was worn by Mrs. Mary Ellen Nardin and made by Mary Frances Coon, a St. Louis dressmaker active from the 1920s through the 1950s.
