“A Woman Living Here Has Registered to Vote” flyer

As Election Day approached in 1920, women were excited to tell the world that they were going to the polls to exercise their new constitutional right. Many women placed flyers and signs like this one in the windows of their homes, announcing to anyone who passed that they would be using the power of the vote in the upcoming election.
