Parkmoor restaurant menu

The Parkmoor restaurants were St. Louis landmarks from 1930 to 1999. The chain was known for its home-style diner food and curb-service carhops. Eventually the restaurant had six locations in St. Louis—three of them on Route 66.Texan Louis McGinley brought his car tray service business to St. Louis in 1930. He opened the first Parkmoor restaurant at Clayton Road and Big Bend Boulevard—the first curb-service restaurant in the city. Parkmoor carhops wore instantly recognizable orange jackets as they served customers.
